The Habs just had a brutal weekend — 8 goals allowed, a 0-for-7 power play, Dach injured again, and the defense looking lost. Suzuki admitted they haven’t played real hockey since the Olympics. But Caufield hit 39 goals and Demidov & Slafkovsky showed up big. The question now: do the Habs call up David Reinbacher from Laval to fix this defense?

Habs will not make playoffs. Reinbacher is no improvement to the team.

You’re coming on here I understand they’re still young understand that who does this thing they’ll be fine. I’m a long time Montreal fan. I’m not worried at all so you shouldn’t be worried either. This is what I mean. You’re putting pressure on somebody on a team. That’s young still please stop it. I still have faith in this team to make the playoffs OK
Also sounds like Fowler is not the next Cary price. Has to make that save and steal a game. Just saying
I'm a hab fan but there's much to high expectations of fowler. Yeah he's good but his stats are not exactly amazing. Settle down everyone. They are good but not great (yet)
Now that we have the cap space, we should call up Reino. Balance the handedness of the D by sitting Carrier. Guhle is obviously nervous about his recovery, hurt otherwise, or concussed. A shadow of his last year self. Do something NOW. Don’t let this fester until it is too late.

Bruins have 1 more win over Habs, Detroit has won the same amount of games, but it's those OTL points putting Montreal in their position.
My bears landed in second berth playoffs 2024. They got there with 15 overtime loser points, ranked above far superior teams!
By game 3 of round one, clearly they didn't belong there.

waiting to see what Pittsburgh does, 15 OTLs giving them second playoff berth, they've only won 33 games.
If they drop down? They may knock somebody out of wild card

Same as Florida Panthers, Washington, NJD – who are much further down in the standings with dwindling hope of making it to playoffs
I want those overtime loser points gone.
But this is the way the league is keeping lower quality franchises fan$ invested.
It's like ranked choice voting… The best don't necessarily make it to the top.
