Did Pettersson fuck Matt’s wife? I get he’s underperforming but it feels so personal. Every segment I see of this show, there’s just personal attacks against Petey. Seriously, did Petey fuck Matt’s wife?
To suggest that Douglas is a side show on the team to distract is degrading to the player and in itself irresponsible. In the 2 games so far we have not seen Douglas go out of his way to be a goon and cause havoc. I also take issue with calling out the fan base for wanting to watch goons (to sell tickets) do their thing on the ice instead of watching a great fast hockey game. Please give a little respect to fan base and to the player. What this team has needed is a deterrent, a physical presents to level the playing field on the ice and not just a goon. Give your head a little shake Sekeres.

You can look at the counting stats of Douglas and laugh, but he gives this team a shot of two things they sorely lack: Size and Truculence. Maybe he himself is not the answer, but he profiles as the type of player they need a few more of.
It’s almost a given that Vancouver will lose the draft lottery based on their history.
You guys gotta seriously do something about this delay issue with your guests. Combine that with cutting each other off all the time and it just makes for a really awkward listening experience. You guys are great but if you’re not gonna have any in studio guests , then you should get this sorted.

Who does Pittsburgh have that would be of any interest to Vancouver, other than maybe Will Horcoff. I think the whole we need to trade Petey with retention or for anything narrative is next level dumb. For instance I watched the game last night and Petey was facilitating the puck nicely, but the play dies as soon as it touched DOC or Kanes stick. How is he supposed to produce if the talent to the left and right are being a detriment? Say we luck out and draft either Mckenna or Stenberg, that type of player should compliment Petey nicely. I say hold on to him as we acquire more skilled talent and then reevaluate later on if we still want to trade him.
