  1. I can tell you the problem, the Habs have no one that is as good as celebrities. He has torn montreal apart twice. Its a good thing they only play him twice.

  2. Suzuki was throwing the puck into no man's land too many times tonight. Kinda brain dead plays. Nice goal though

  3. The goals were NOT softies as far as Dobes is concerned (I recall when teams used to say you have to take Carey's eyes away – that is what I saw on Dobes for two of the goals tonight and Celebrini picked the top corner on another). There were horrible defensive lapses on the part of the team. The Gally spark wasn't there and the defensive play was absent at key times. Cannot give Celebrini the time and space that he had – his talent was tough. Demidov should sit for a game. Bring up Reinbacher and go with 6 d men that will play their own side. D Coach needs to address the recurring theme of not clearing the net; this will only get worse if they get to the playoffs. Fowler plays tomorrow, but not because of Dobes' play tonight.

  4. Carrier didn't play well. The no-goal call because of a crappy whistle where there shouldn't be one were, major factors in the outcome of the game. Also, Bolduc needs to use his size.🙄 Dobson needs to take more time before passing, he gave away the the puck a few times and Struble didn't play well either. The Habs need to be much more physical and finish their checks.

  5. Stephan robidas needs to go we need a new voice. We have all the tools we need arbor to develop I think we have so much potential

  6. Nice job on the no headbobbing Josh! Much better. Disappointing game and while I don't really blame Dobes as some of the goals were flukey, I'm hoping Fowler is in nets tomorrow.

  7. Don’t complain about that Hutson goal. That type of thing happens every night to some team, u know it. How about that Mike matheson elbow on chernyshov to start the game. Elbow connected directly with his chin, accidental or not. Made him do a backflip n smack his head on the ice. But I forgot ur Habs fans, so the refs r always against u

  8. I'm glad Josh noticed too that Suzuki looked off tonight in terms of his passing even though he scored one of the goals. I can't be too hard on him though since he's the best player on the team most nights. I also think the team in general should be more aggressive when defending in their own end. They seem to give opposing teams too much space with not enough pressure on them.

  9. Carrier is a liability, loyalty to him is bordering on stupidity Marty, somebody give this guy a fkn shake

  10. Exactly, way to passive on the penalty kill and on defensive play this year and last year.lf you're not bringing up Reinbacher or Engstrom then sit Carrier and play our physical guys Arber and Struble. Don't get so bent out of shape when and if they make a mistake, our defense suck sucks to high heaven! We run around like pee wee players unable to manhandle their opponents at all,is it just me seeing this ? Hello Marty and Stephan Robidas, wake the eff up it has been the weakest spot on the team for years, their pathetic at times and the coaching is even worse!!!

  11. No softies. Stop. Redirected picks. Sooner or later the Canadiens have got to learn to work harder to close the crease. It’s killing them. Time and time again. And it’s not even the playoffs yet.

  12. What ever happened to even trying to clear space in front of their own net? The concept is gone this year. It’s exhausting
To watch how weak the D is in front of their own net.

  13. 2 things I absolutely hate even though I knowt is a part of the new NHL for all teams.

    1) Backwards pass when on the PP.

I prefer dump and chase rather than waste 20 seconds of your powerplay every entry….letting the other team to set up to stop us.

    2) The 'bumper' nonsense.

When it works….it is video game upic. For sure. But shots on goal with rebounds I will take over that.

Attempting the bumper behind the opposition and basically sending them on their way as if they were on our team drives me crazy!

Keep up the great work guys!

    Your content is amazing 👏

  14. I’ll
Say it. Anderson gets rest next game and Gally draws in. Anderson has got to play better and assert himself more.

  15. Reinbacher is being over hoped as some saviour of sorts for this year. Not happening that way. He’s turning the puck over right now. Egregiously. Every game almost. And he’s not winning. Enough board battles and is still susceptible to speed intended and relies on his length too much. Turns too late. He’s not ready. Next year. Despite the loud voices. He’s not. Next year. Although he does battle battle hard in front of his own net. Better than all six Hab D men now. Still think his time is next year. Not now. Too many errors. More the Struble, X and Carrier. Horrendous turnovers that will be sniped against in the NHL. NOT LUCKY high danger turnovers that don’t turn into goals at the AHL at the same rate.

  16. Gally is a sparkplug that gives 110% every game, banging and fighting in front of the net, but he was scratched, and Dobes couldn't stop a beachball, with a machinegun! Add to that the absence of Xhekaj, and I think you have a good idea what the problems were.

  17. Every time we play a team that competes hard defensively and physically, we fold, and are now one more loss out of the playoffs! We are not comfortably in anything!

  18. did you guys talk about Matthews and lack of Leafs response… this is why i always have a bad feeling when Xhekaj is not in the lineup, it just wouldnt stand with him out there

Habs team defense keeps feeling soft, Guhle injury took some bite out of him, i kinda dont blame him for being a little hesitant to physically put himself out there, but that's what we need
I liked Texier in the lineup, but I totally get having Gallagher back in

Carrier we should have cashed in at the trade deadline, really like the guy but it'd be a sell high situation on him, out of nowhere scoring, RD, make room for our next set of guys, or could have packaged with Laine if needed , lets free up some roster spots and get something or just cap space

Dobes / Fowler… i love these guys, but dont put so much on them, maybe we think Fowler has that bailout factor like Price did… hmmm lot of pressure, i guess might as well find out if he's got that in him

how do we fit Hage into the lineup, Demidov last season was different, i dont remember the log jam, and i think the games didnt matter much near the end so could rest guys and let Demidov get some time… so maybe later on

  19. It's still the youngest team in the NHL and getting better with experience.
You have a premier pp scorer on the payroll but don't use him….
Put Laine on the bench and use him on the pp.

  20. Even when he isnt on the score sheet, gallagher is such a vital piece that others play better around him. He is the glue, the heart, and the soul.

  21. As soon as you guys and mgmt and coaches wake up and realize it is not the goaltending, but the defensive and offensive turnovers that are MTL’s liability, nothing will change. First you dump on Monty. Now Dobes, next Fowler until we run out of goalies to blame.

  22. Once again… two more garbage lob shots from the point find their way in. They are in dire need of a true defenseman who can clear the front of the net. Way too many of these type of goals allowed this season. Goaltending has never been the problem in my opinion. Constantly out shot more often than not and too many of those shots getting through a two man screen.
