Becoming Wild: Ryan Hartman

The last time Becoming Wild checked in with Ryan Hartman in 2018, he spent a lot of time in the place where he grew up: Chicago. He hadn’t even put on a Wild sweater for a game yet. No kids, not married, and the priority was finding a good tee time.

Fast forward eight years, and hitting the links has fallen down the priority list. He married his high school sweetheart Lauren–a Minnesota native. They welcomed their first child, Keyes, in 2024. Tee times have been replaced with park time and nap time for Keyes.

Through ups and downs, Ryan Hartman has found a role of being a quiet leader in the Wild dressing room. On the ice, he balances finding the right way to stick up for his guys. Off of it, he’s finding ways to get those guys together and bond as a team.
