I want to say very strong actually the game on Bruce nurse wasn’t bad. He played well but Walman not good you know play well. Also Connor Arab yesterday he played great but I feel the problem is the neutral zone even David was making mistake yesterday and blue shirts. It’s not it’s not great used to be that’s number two hours. He didn’t play good on yesterday game so don’t point only one other player is making mistake too. We love you. You are your channel and we support that be neutral but I would love if we can rid of Jerry and get another goalie.

Anyone else think Wallman is possibly injured still? If so he should be pulled until he's 100%. Nurse is just a lost cause. Nothing we can do until his contract is done.

The thing with walman is that I know he can rebound, he could still be shaken up from his injury or just trying to get back into the feel of things a little more. But with Nurse he plays when his job is on the line. Nurse has shown way less flashes of being better than Walman imo but because of the ridiculous cap hit they have to keep him in the line up. I don't care how good he is in the playoffs when hes showing no signs of improving compared to walman. He says he wants to take accountability and play better but it does not show. Walman had those 2 OT winners earlier but he's probably mentally out of it. I think Nurse has to have sheltered minutes and so does Walman, but Walman less so because he can rebound.
plus/minus is actually a fairly useful general tool….. Clearly the magnitude of the Nurse, Walman7mx7, jCampbell5x5 , Mangiapane3.6×2 (giving away 1st round for free to hide it), Frederic3.9×8, Jarry 5.4×3 (plus Kulak&2nd for free), Knobl 3yrs. These errors are of such magnitude… & punish the fans for so so LONG… they do need to be highlighted & some accountability.
Cdns very forgiving of mgt = a great place for flawed mgrs to go to & hide out/milk a few more $mil from fans…. Even the top line of RNH -8, McD +10, Hyman +8… is not as great as one would think… so appears something wrong w Coach/Ldshp. A lot of gambling: Stastny -8, Tomasek -6, Howard -6, Philp -7, Regula -16 not working… waive Stecher… Stars are Ekho & Podko!!
Take the A away from Nurse & give it to #29 full time!!
Walman is probably still suffering the effects of the early season injury. Bench him for a bit. Nurse just looks lost out there
They shouldn't have screwed Calvin Pickard, he took the chemistry with him to Bakersfield.
I do think Bouchard may be given a bit to much grief about his defending, but I do disagree that playing 25 minutes a night means you’ll see this mistakes all the time, Makar, Hughes, Werenski, Heiskanen, Slavin and other guys don’t do that as frequently
Look at the 5v5 with Evan B when McDavid is not on the ice. Yes he is not great defensively especially when he has to play defense.

Nurse is never a 1st pair D. He was 1# because Oilers had no D at the time. He is just a medicore D (low IQ, awkward skating, average speed, no offense skill, poor defensive ability) 😂having a strong year. He was never in the same class as Jones, Makar, Werenski, in about the same contract year. An 20+ year GM should never panic in that situation. I would have let him walk as he demanded that contract. That why I give Holland a grade D GM.

Season is slipping away! Goal-tending is one thing but the defense in front don't help. If Nurse got point every time a puck bounced off him into the net, he'd be tops!

I mean if you are going to cherry pick Bouchards stats but leave out the fact hes mostly on the top line, offensive zone draws and Edmontons lack of depth outside the top 6. Really isnt the best argument for him being a rock solid defender.
Nurse used to make up for his lack of strategic ability with his athleticism. He now doesn't clear the front of the net, and if he tries to do so, he does it only enough to screen the goalie or deflect the shot into the goal. Nurse was a great athlete who made up for a hockey IQ deficit with his strength and skill. That no longer happens. … If Wallman is injured, then find some way, any way, not to play him.
It's not just the D. Aside from Podkolzin, none of the Oilers' forwards know how to finish a check. And two of the worst offenders are Connor and Leon. They'll approach an opposing forward when he has the puck, but the moment he passes it, they turn away and puck-chase. So they're just running around in their own end not actually covering anyone. Until that changes, they'll keep giving up too many high-danger chances, and spend too much time in their own D-zone.
Your question are those two good enough to play they probably are with some other team obviously they're not doing s*** here give it to them do we want to win the cup or not

How did these guys make it to the big leagues on how they play defense how did they become defense men they absolutely don’t know how to play defense should have became goalies that’s what there trying to do most of the time getting in there goalies way
