  1. Should be a rule like in australian v8 where they have to be stopped to get any fuel. In australia the fuel being in means the cars jacks are lowered automatically stopping dangerous stuff from happening

  2. They should make a detachable nozzle so if that does happen there is no liability.

  3. Nope, that win is nice…but my team is everything. They run themselves ragged, endanger themselves from uncontrolled cars, etc. I aint winning shi without my team. Splash and dash or not, i aint watching one of mine hit the ground like they dont matter.

  4. I remember when nascars crew members safety equipment was a sponsors hat

It’s amazing to see the progression of safety equipment. Like the safer barriers, HANS device. Anyone over the wall on the crew needs a helmet.

On the other side of safety they have shot themselves in the foot when it comes to restrictor plates and not allowing teams room to make their cars faster.
There is nothing like hearing that v8 engine, especially in the last 90’s early 2000’s, roar at 220 mph at Daytona 3 or 4 wide. Hell I’ve even seen 5 wide before.

There is also a lack of personality amongst the drivers. Just a few are entertaining and will speak their mind and can actually drive.
Not saying it doesn’t take talent to drive but on tv or in person I’d rather watch dirt track racing
