the commentator did not once sing the praise of connor mcdavid once. That guy will go down in hockey history as almost as good as Joe Thornton. As an Oiler fan, I am very proud of that. Why aren 't more commentators talking about that comparison? Glass half full guys! Come On.

I do NOT think Jarry is the guys to win them a cup.. but Skinner .. sucks.. and then good in Pitsburgh….. Jarry not great.. worse in Edmonton…. sounds to me like problem one.. the goalies are not great.. .but a bigger problem is the Edmonton D is TERRBLE.. and has been for years.. Nurse and Bouchard could not tell you who their starter is because they have no clue who is in their own end.. the team D is poor at best… and yes Edmonton circa 1980 was the same .. but they had SOME D and well.. they put up 9 and win 9-8. this team is not that team… .

Defense is awful in edm and coaching is part of it. Points don't get covered, shots dont get blocked, defense don't hold any line.
