What is Eklunds projection? What line one day in NHL. Timing? When will he be ready?
Vic Eklund turning into a possible middle sixer like Frans Nielson would be so beneficial in the long run, especially in the Noah Dobson trade. Isles fans really (and I mean it), REALLY need to see this kid develop. Ka$h Aitch is also
He plays like he's 6'5, 235 even though he's 5'11, 170. Such a dawg.
He's going to really need to build his lower body/core up to play his leverage game vs NHL players, but he's one of those guys that makes you think "good hockey player" every time you watch him.
Heart and energy is valuable traits, and height is probably the most overrated statline in hockey.
It feels like his hockey IQ is too underrated 🔥
Eklund will be in the NHL next year. The Islanders have made the move to have him on the team. He might start in the AHL in the beginning, and then come up/
I can't wait for him Eiserman and Aitcheson to come up. The islanders future is very bright under Darche!
Is Zach Benson a good comparison?
The Eklunds are dogs man. I'm a Hawks fan and love Frondell but he doesn't do as well without a player like him.
He is good but Frondell is the better of the 2 by far
Great video . Awesome insights from a coaching point of view
You don't need to be big to throw a check. Steve Webb…
