Gudas was with us with the Panthers and he was a super rough player. The Bennett/Gudas combo was terrifying. Benny is more tame.

Gudas was going for a big hit on the body, Matthews tried to undress Gudas, the only thing left was the leg. I don't know what Gudas could have done differently, it was just unfortunate that Matthew's knee went sideways.

Its because He is on a Canadian Team. NHL is Ruled by Trump. How many times a Canadian gets hurt by a intent to injure play and the American Team player gets off with a min suspension. This time the Ref called it but the suspension committee backed the American Team. Radko is a known intent to injure player. We should bring the Stanley Cup to Canadian Teams.The American Teams can play for there own cup the Trump Cup They are so proud of him

The NHL should be embarrassed and I can't believe the official YouTube channel of the league has the gall to post this, considering how absolutely unacceptable is the NHL's response to this disgusting hit. Gudas should be out for 41 games. Half a season without pay. Send a message once and for all. But no. Once again, the NHL shows what a bush league it is. I can't believe the owners tolerate this and cannot protect their main assets i.e. the players. Parros should be fired immediately. The NHL sucks big time.

I mean some people are calling him a goon and someone who is doing this constantly but he hasn’t been suspended in 7 years. Gudas may have been known for this in the past but he clearly has a different play style nowadays.
Also I’m pretty sure this is more of a baffaling missed check than a purposeful knee to knee contact with the intent to injure. Still a dumb play and a major penalty but worthy of a ban for life, no.
