Connor McDavid scored for Edmonton, who went 2-1-1 on their four game road trip. They return home for a four game homestand and they’ll have to play their best hockey of the season if they want to solidify their playoff positioning. Been watching since the cup. I admit not an oilers fan, in fact a Blues fan sorry everyone, but enjoy your content and hockey knowledge. Really wanted you guys to win it last year. Don’t think my Blues have any hope besides winning their way out of a decent draft spot, but do hope you guys put it together. I don’t want to see Tampa or Colorado take another cup.

The Oilers' power play (three times per game) is simply terrible! Thanks to McDavid's😂 inaccurate passes, they even created a few great shorthanded opportunities for the Blues. Other stats: Roslovic (-2), Dickinson(-2), Nurse(-2)
Ingram (SV = .88). The Blues are not Dallas, but Edmonton didn't play well enough to win.😇 and I'm NOT happy!

It's almost like they switch off guess they have had high loads recently and you're always right time and game management is so important no point having a tired superstar on when someone who can put in a real shift and change the momentum could help especially when closing the game out.

The fundamental problem with the Oilers is that in almost every game the opposing goalie wins the goalie battle. That was the case again yesterday. You can’t really blame Ingram directly for the goals against, but as you could already see in overtime, Hofer makes the crucial save on the shot from Draisaitl, while Ingram doesn’t stop the decisive shot from Thomas.
One thing is clear, Ingram is the Oilers main starting goalie now.

The thing that frustrated me the most was the power-play… Davo & draisaitl WERE GASSED, making bad passes, etc. instead of changing they didn’t change till there was only like 10 seconds left of the power-play and it was done. They need to let other people play too. It’s really annoying. Love McDavid’s goal though. Oh well, at least they picked up a point & this road trip went better than expected.!!
