What do people expect? Look who is the head of player safety and I don't care if Torts or others say how good a guy he is what is with that BS like they can't just call it like it is why throw in he's a good guy so what he still sucks at his job. Parros is a clown and things won't change until they get somebody in there who isn't afraid to lay the hammer down to set real examples. "He has a tough job" no he doesn't he's just a lame puppet who won't make harsher rulings on these things that keep happening and it's why players take matters into their own hands when they retaliate unless you're the leafs who say they didn't see it lol sure…

Think this is just an excuse Matthew's out for season because team so bad missed playoffs and he has lost all inspiration to play here im betting hes out and asking for a trade next season he won't be a leaf. Yes it was a bad & cheap shot but if you zoom into video he caught him in the quad muscle above the knee and I think with the hit Matthew's jumped on that to pull out of the rest of the season and to be 100% ready for next season with a new team! Just saying & im even will to bet on it!!!!

When a player is seriously injured, as Austin Matthew's was,
I think the perpetrator should be forced to sit out of playing for a time period the injured player missed due to said injury.
He also knocked Crosby out of the Olympics, not that that counts in the NHL.

Matthews is a Toronto Maple Leaf. Nobody in HO gives a sh|t. Just like Matthews.
Obviously intentional. Gudas injured both Canada and USA Olympic captains now. This isn't a coincidence. Guy played for Slovakia, and lost. So he's either a sore loser, or being paid by bad actors to do this.
Parros played for the Ducks and has also given out more suspensions to the Leafs than anybody else. Interesting.
