Kadri and the Avalanche top line dismantle the Kraken in a 5-1 victory. alongside Kadri, MacKinnon had a four point night. Necas, Roy, and Kiviranta also added goals. Should the Avs just leave Kadri on the top line?

Kadri ripped off Calgary flames good job your not even worth 8 million

I’ll keep posting this, What more does Wedgewood need to do to prove he should be the starter for the playoffs? To me that debate is over, Blackwood looks shaky right now and Wedgie is nails right now
The other part of it is Blackwood has been a starter most his career-if not all. (I'm not totally sure about all his time in NJ-can't remember off top of my head if he always was the starter). Wedgewood has mostly been a backup. It's much more comfortable for Wedgewood to come off the bench cold in a given game or in a series than it would be for Blackwood the other way. So short of Blackwood completely collapsing down the stretch of the regular season-I agree ya start Blackwood,& be thankful there's only a handful of teams who can trust their #2 as much as we can.If Blackwood struggles ya have full confidence in Wedgewood. Maybe only Minny with Gus,& Walstedt have as good of #1,& #2 combination. I certainly think that's true in the West.
And even Minnesota-while Walstedt has an unbelievable ceiling,& future-& is scary as hell when he plays up to his capability-hes still a rookie,& can't yet be fully trusted in the playoffs. And Gus was abysmal,& got benched at the Olympics vs mainly future accountants or Euro league guys-on team Italy,& Slovakia. So factoring that all in-i wouldn't trade our goalie tandem for anybody-at least in the West. I trust both our goalies more than anybody on Vegas,Edmon,Montreal,& probably other playoff teams. If SJ gets in-I think Askarov has a bright future but he can't be trusted in a playoff series right now. Don't believe Utah can be CERTAIN-Vemelka will be great in the playoffs THIS YEAR-despite a great reg season. Dostal has incredible future but is 2nd yr guy who's never played 1 NHL playoff game-which matters.
Big picture,& past this year for the long run-im taking Minnesotas every day. But for this playoff run in the moment-Im taking Colorado & barring injuries or abysmal play-im starting Blackwood but wouldn't be a damn bit hesitant to go to Wedge. Either just to finish out a playoff game,& maybe spark you or make the full change as starter. But we know Wedgewood can handle this difficult spot as an elite #2 or quasi "1B." We really don't know about Blackwood. But he has also been top 5 goalie this year overall so no reason to panic & bench him cuz of 1 bad game vs Dallas,& 1 so/so game vs Edmonton where they had an hour of PPs practically. But as Bednar said after the Edmonton game-no doubt you'd like 1 save on any of Edmontons 1st 3 goals -though Blackwood wasn't at fault. And he can't be turning in many more performances like the abomination in Dallas.
