Hawks need to buyout Burakovsky, almost useless and that turnover WTF?
Two observation:
1. Nick Schmaltz has carved out a highly successful career and the trade between the Blackhawks and the Arizona Coyoes/Utah Mammoth was a bad one. Schmaltz is a consistent 20-40 (goals – assists) top line center and Dylan Strome & Brendan Perlini were busts for the Blackhawks.
2. Andrew Mangiapane is a nice pickup for the Blackhawks. He is a worker bee and he brings energy and grit to every shift, something this Blackhawks team desperately needs.
Can they buy out Burakovsky?

I've been critical of Connor's play at times, I guess a lot of us have. But I'll tell you why Chicago is extremely fortunate to have a guy like him on this team. He has one of the most wicked shots in the league, he has elite playmaking sense and execution, but most of all he absolutely wants to win and I have not seen him play without the desire to make an impact in any single game, not to mention every single shift. He competes harder than anyone in this team and that's why Chicago can build around him. Wyatt Kaiser has similar compete level, and I have to mention Bertuzzi as well. Anyhow all the best to this developing project.
