Colorado Avalanche cruise past the Seattle Kraken with a dominant 5-1 win, showcasing Nathan MacKinnon’s four-point night and undeniable top-line chemistry. 1. Y'all still sold on blackwood or have you opened your eyes yet ? Just saying the saves Wedgy was making last night were insane a couple of them . Blackwood would have let up 5 goals and we would have went to OT no doubt in my mind …..

  2. Dallas are without Hintz, Seguin, and "one other player". And they roll over Edmonton no problem. Damn, it's gonna be tough and the Avs need every advantage they can get come playoffs time. Defend 1st in the West, work on PP and get Landeskog back! Pretty please.

  3. Toews touched the puck ever so slightly on the pass from Mackinnon to Necas. Actually lucky it didn't bounce or change direction or anything.

  4. The power play doesn’t work because the opposition is content to let Mac and Makar play catch. There isn’t any other threat now that Mikko isn’t on the right side.

  5. fun fact, the Avs had a season with 22 shgs given up… finishing with 104 points on the season… which also happens to be the same year we won our first stanley cup.

  6. I think Brent burns has been fucking awesome all year. For a guy who’s 41 and hasn’t missed a game in over 12 years he’s been everything I could’ve asked for and then some. I think he’s been amazing all year

As far as the newbies go, to me the only one who’s been “meh” so far is kulak. Naz has obviously fit right in with Mack and Marty on the top line w cap out. Nick Roy with a couple goals already, I thought he’s been really good as a net front presence again especially bc Gabe is out. Having Roy’s to post his big ass in front has helped the pp imo. I thought blankenberg had a noticeable shift at one point in the 2nd. He hits more than I would have thought for someone his size. I think all of the deadline pickups have been pretty successful so far. Though I’m definitely biased towards Roy w the big goal he scored against Minnesota over the weekend.
