"Playoffs?! Don't talk about playoffs! Are you kidding me? Playoffs?!"
The problem with Detroit was that Yzerman knew he had a problem on defence for years and has done nothing but sign bottom of barrel in free agency. Literally two signings are in the AHL. (Holl and Gustafson) He wasn’t expecting ASP to make the roster so just what the hell was the plan? If he would have addressed the defence earlier he could have added a center. Yzerman has been an epic failure in building the backend.
Raymond doesnt have a point in 4 games. I get hes had a good year but when the team needs him hes a no show like last year
Not making playoffs. Just cant see it now
Why are we acting like injuries are our biggest problem right now? I mean Larkin sure but Copp has 8 goals this season it’s not like he was a huge offensive force while he was healthy. What other huge offensive producers are out with injury?
Correct. The 5 on 5 scoring has been pitiful all season. Kane can no longer be counted on for regular goals. Ditto Compher, Copp, van Reimsdyke, Finnie, Kasper, Appleton, Rasmussen, ect. There are 3 scorers: Raymond, Cat and Larkin and they don't every game.
The cupboard is bare.
All year, try the last 3 years
