Love Parayko and happy he is staying but man that deal was juicy. If he ends up moving in the off-season and the deal is clearly weaker it will be a huge let down.
Staying competitive while retooling means middling draft picks and one and done playoff runs, or just missing it.
Beyond the (I think correct) thought of "As soon as you move Robert Thomas, you're looking for a Robert Thomas," I'd add look at Toronto and Marner. Not great results removing that much offense from their team. Personally I think Thommer is still a big part of our future, and look forward to more him, Holly and Snuggy!
Chicago is still in a rebuild even after getting Conner. You build around Thomas and I think the Blues have started to have the young pieces to do that. As long see 81 18 21 stay healthy that is a solid line.
This has been frustrating this season,, but I don't care ,I love it when they win! It's bad news to introduce losing or tanking ,it sets a bad precedent, 17 games left 6 points out .I don't care how many teams are in between, they are getting fun to watch, if they play their way out of the stupid lottery so be it, this is what this organization does more tines than I can count,it's just who they .it is what it is
Literally no one expects a mid late 1st round draft pick to turn into Celebrini or Schaefer. Love these strawman arguments
Stillman’s impression of Donny is shockingly my favorite part of the episode. And it was a great episode!
Stillman shafted season ticket holders, made everyone sign a 3 year locked in contract. Really a scumbag move.
