At least the Leafs won. The Ducks are comfy in a playoff spot but a bit flakey and could still miss if they went on a losing skid. So at least the Ducks were punished in one way

Pathetic team and lack of heart is really showing. It's not Berube's fault, he would have destroyed Gudas.
No one on the ice at the time of the hit was going to do anything meaningful to Gudas. So 2 options. Wait until later in the game and you take a shot at one of their better players. Or someone on the ice at the time takes it upon themselves to get suspended and 2-hand chop Gudas in the wrist, knee, ankle, or whatever. That's the problem with having a soft team. The opponents know they can get away with anything!
It was nice seeing the Leafs stand up for each other and care about the game. Even Nylander was throwing hits. Cowan fought Lacombe. Good stuff. Shoutout to Groulx for getting a short-handed goal!

This is why I have a problem with Nylander. Not because he's a bad player but he could be SO much more. He's fast and has a decent build, but he plays this self-limiting role of soft, skilled scorer. You are one the center pieces of this team. Do more.
