Todd McLellan is a good man and a good coach. Nothing but respect for him. Even before injuries his options are limited with this group of stiffs. What an embarrassment of an organization. Steve Yzerman is an awful executive
Kane and Cat were great. Compher eventually got to their level starting in the 2nd period and that line just took over.
Kasper line just doesn't have the horses bc of Finnie being the 3rd guy imo. MBN should get a look. Raymond also doing a full disappearing act, bc it's March.
4th line with JvR and the two AHL guys surprisingly punchy and dangerous in its time.
3rd line with Ras/Appleton is the worst line to ever play. It is amazing it wasn't scored on, while the dominant line was scored on twice. But that's hockey. That line cannot continue, and at least one of Ras or Appleton should probably not continue.
Gibson choked badly. Benny Chiarot cost his team 1 or 2 goals. Gut punch stupid play on the first goal, the power play thing. Team stepped up after that.
McLellan should have had top d pair playing w top line the entire 3rd period after their dominant 2nd period together. Instead they didn't match up until mid-way thru the 3rd, and only had a couple shifts together – the latter ending in disaster (Simon + Gibson).
Proud of the effort tonight from some. I mostly got the performances I expected from who I expected them from. It was winnable. It wasn't won. On to the next one.

If Tampa can pull themselves up tonight, then we can too. I don’t know if y’all are familiar, but that is their first two points in seven games. It’s so hopefully we’ll learn something from this and take a page out of what they’ve done.

I don't mind losing to Teams that have 1.9 mill in Salary Cap. While we sit here with 57 mill. They're supposed to be better than us.
