  1. It can't be stated enough…yes, Hughes got the goal (and chipped the puck to half ice) but Werenski out-hustled and out-muscled the great Nathan MacKinnon for that loose puck to set up Hughes for the relatively easy game winner.
MacKinnon whiffed on an open net then was out-muscled by this kid.
No wonder MacKinnon is experiencing the worst case of sour grapes ever

  2. Gotta tuck it away so he doesn’t remember that they got completely outplayed & got a medal that wasn’t deserved lol

  3. as a canadian, i knew USA would take it, the amount of talent and passion on that team was way too great, yeah you could say we outplayed them but the goaltending was unmatched, looking to get out of this communist country after my sixth year of uni, cant wait to rep the red and blue, god bless america and the gaudreau family

  4. Really!?? Id make some kinda glass display case with a good lock and throw that mofo on my wall. Hes got money and can afford to have some kind of sick bullettproof glass display

  5. Zach didn't score the Golden Goal, but his great effort was behind it. Hughes gets the accolades, but Werenski deserves the Lion's share of it, it was inspiring…

  6. Man. I'm still in disbelief. I can't believe I lived to watch my countrymen win the Olympic Hockey gold.

That Canadian team was stacked. Absolutely stacked. What a great f***in game. Congratulations team USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸ‘ πŸ…

  7. He gets the Golden Assist. The winning assist. Coach always said the assist is just as important as the goal. Good job.

  8. All 4 men on the ice are treasures. Even Dylan Larkin didn't touch the puck but realized that Werenski was gonna make the pass, so he turned to skate back down the ice to play defense if need be.
That's what smart players do, that's what team players do, and that's what a leader does. He deserved to be on the ice when the goal was scored and to treasure that memory forever.

  9. Boldy deserves a whole lot of credit for them even having a chance. If he doesn't score first, there's a chance the U.S. gets shut out 1-0.

  10. Awesome assist on the gold medal winner Zach πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ₯‡
