After Ottawa jumped ahead with two goals from Drake Batherson, Montreal responded with goals from Juraj Slafkovsky and Alexandre Texier to tie the game. Demidov then scored the decisive goal in the third period, continuing his impressive rookie campaign as the Canadiens secured another important win in the playoff race.

I was at the game, 😮and it did look like Slaf scored just before the Texier goal. A Sens fan sitting beside me agreed, the puck went in and ricocheted back out again.
When the sens turned up the physicality it got scary… Habs started falling apart. This is their exact weakness and will be their downfall in the post

Okay, I'm not crazy! At 3:39 you mention Travis Green looked yellow, and there were a few times over the course of the game where they had closeups of players faces and I could swear they looked more yellow than they should. I think it must've been a broadcast issue.

Living in Calgary for almost 52 years and I've yet to see real freezing rain here. Having experienced it in my youth when we literally skated on the street, and knocking sheets of 20-30 mm thick ice off of our trees resulting temporary icy moulds of bark, I'm glad we don't get it. It might be fun and novel for a teenager, but it creates very dangerous driving conditions.

Was at the game in Ottawa last night and it sure feels awesome to play a home game in their rink! All the Olé Olé's, Go Habs Go and the wave! Ottawa fans haven't seen a wave since, well, the last time the Habs were in town! It was great to watch Fowler play. He looked so calm out there!

I am a monty hype woman through and through but even I am ready to accept he needs to step down. I was at the Christmas game against the penguins when Fowler shut them out and I'm so excited for him. Dobes has more than earned his spot as a starter. Monty pushed the boys to the playoffs last season but 25/26 is a wash. Thankful for what he did last season and I'm excited for Dobes and Fowler to get their credit.
