Leaf fan here. Interesting trade for the Oil. Seeing as we won't be getting playoffs in Toronto for the 1st time in a decade, we all must choose our new Canadian champion soon here. It ain't never gonna be Ottawa because you know… hatred & stuff. & don't even bring up the stinkin Habs. & we generally are lukewarm about the 'Nucks. So it's always Alberta or Manitoba that gets our secondary fandom whence the Leafs are done. Historically. Good luck with your trade moves Oil.
Oilers are too old. They missed their window. Unless they trade half the team for a real goalie, they are done.
