Dave Lewis was a defenseman. He should not have been making any decisions about the forward lines. Brett Hull was 100% correct about his assessment of Dave Lewis coaching abilities.

It just proves that you can have the best lineup in the world (which we did) but without a good coach to make good decisions..still lose
