They could have beat Colorado,the should have beat Montreal! They could actually have been tied for a playoff spot . They have to continue! However they need more intensity after goals either way ! And they have given so many 6-5 goals with an empty net looming ! And couldn’t get one in 8 minutes vs the islanders and gave one up ! THEY NEED TO BE PLAY HARDER 6-5 !
In my humble opinion the horrible home record is/was due to hiller playing match up ! And not have gauge on the bench of who’s most ready to just go next ! The best tool in the shed once it’s dull is not as good as the crappy tool that’s still sharp ! Just play herb brooks style , fitness comes before skill ! Whoever is the most ready is who’s up next !
