TRADE TRADE TRADE.
As if trading established players for picks and prospects makes any sense hen you draft terribly and develope even worse.
I look at the trade deadline with dread not hope as Drury is just continuing his process of destroying the team & creating unnecessary trust & morale issues. The post game interview with Fox was so telling as he seemed defeated & my ears perked up when he mentioned his disappointment with the Panarin trade. We even hear that Gavrikov is not happy & may want out.
This team is not as bad as fans think, but yet again one sees a lack of direction & plan. The PP & PK stink & Sullivan changes this & that & the other, but the Rangers still lose. The press is cutting Sullivan a lot of slack, but he is responsible for the product on the ice. I thought he might offer a counterbalance to Drury's incompetence, but they appear to be joined at the hip. Connor Sheary out there really pisses me off! Rangers might as well get rid of Othmann & Berard because it appears to me that Sullivan has little use for them. Berard got 13 points last year & this year–ZERO. Othman is too busy playing defense to be the scorer that he is. Chmelar is playing well in Hartford but we don't see him, we see Brisson. What an FN mess!!!!!!
I feel like just get it over with Drury so we can stop the speculation on draft pick and prospects we are so lucky( uuh) we will wind up with.

Seriously let’s not pretend because we all know Drury will screwed up Trocheck trade in a perfect world we need a 1 pick and 2 prospects minimum
The Rangers should forfeit the remaining away games and save travel the expense, then give every home game fan a crying towel.
Detroit cannot afford Trocheck. I can see Detroit trying to acquire Othman ….. but who would Detroit offer? Unless Sullivan has his eyes on someone. As for Trocheck…..who would MN offer?? Detroit has cash…..no players. MN is a month away from a rebuild. 5 UFAs. I can see ending Othman and Trocheck to Detroit for a nice package including Danielson, Kasper, a 2026 first rounder and a defensive defensemen (Johansson).

Ok kid, you get 1 game with Panarin, you better score! Those are not opportunities; that's unnecessary pressure put on a young kid. No way I trade him for a 4th or worse, a trade for another underperforming prospect is possible, but there's no reason to move him now (maybe in the summer) as we "tank" the rest of the season. Time to play him and give him a legitimate shot, with quality ice time not garbage minutes. This is how he should have been handled in the first place. PS: Not that I believe in him as a prospect anymore, but there was a belief in the past and it merited opportunity.
