    conciliatory comment but weve dealt with this refrain many times with limited follow through or adjustments to enact said changes

  2. It's more than just the poor shootouts. Rakel is in the bumper on the power play, and it is purely a matter of chance when his shot hits the back of the net. Scorers don't just shoot at the center of the goal. That's where the goaltender lives. A one on one with an NHL goaltender is typically a losing proposition. Tic Tac Toe can be the only way to score. I think Pen's poor shootout performance exemplifies that concept. But, Muse has been great in working on Penguin deficiencies. I see more player development under Muse in one season than 5 years under Mike Sullivan.
