    Leafs suck. When you’re in tank mode you’re supposed to beat the other team up and keep your dignity. They can’t do anything right

    Glad that Knies didn’t get traded for Reinbacher and Hage. Both those guys are already better than most of the leafs and they’re not in the NHL yet

    So if the leafs are going to do a retool.
    Is it one and done if the retool doesn't go as planned?
    If that is the case, Sammy
    Mathews Nylander are now in play.
    To Nick's point it now becomes a rebuild a 4 to 5 yr project.
    Both Nylander Mathews would be in their mid 30s
    Knies would be 27 28.
    Cowan 23 25 there is part of the future still need some very big pieces to complete the build.
    Sorry Sam I trade him ASAP.
    Quilian Groulx didn't do them selves any harm
    1 game doesn't mean next year for Groulx but Thursday Saturday with Quilian look better .
    My lines for Thursday
    Knies Groulx Nylander or Maccelli
    Cowan Quilian Robertson or Joshua
    Lorentz Domi Jarnkrok or Joshua and give him more minutes
    Travares Mathews Maccelli or Nylander.
    I personally bring up a couple more young legs with heart determination piss and vinegar.
    Same with defenseman.
    Rafi Villenuev Hayme Verrti .
    Even Logan Shaw.
    2nd to last pre season game the AHL lineup beat Detroits NHL …

    I think Willy likes Toronto more then he would hate being on a losing/rebuilding team but I don't get the sense he'd be happy on a losing team for more then a year or two I think the guy wants to win.
