What could've been 😢
Talent and had motivation, then came big deal and money, real payday… after that seems ego tooked control and motivation no more or not that much what it was because the fame was reached. Focused more more how looks in media and photos.
Give people money and they will show true person what is inside.
Also starting to think he's not very likeable person in teams, so many "new starts" and always same song, others to blame.
And those sayings about Columbus before playing against them after trade, doesnt give very good or respectful picture.
Of course there is those bad injuries, sad and devastating things outside game what can and will effect but still feels that it was money and fame what tooked control of young man ego and couldnt handle pressure inside.
Can imagine how hard it is to keep foot down when all that money comes. That is also one thing what separates stars and superstars.
One trick pony nowdays but hasnt never been tough enough for nhl.
Many times voted most overrated, tells lot.
When we will see he's true potential? Well maybe we have seen it already…
Maybe would be better for him to come back to finland league and be that superstar what really wants to be.
I just realise… Who cursed the top 5 of 2016 draft? Chucky has been first one to succeed but he was #6. Matthews is producing but stuck in Leafs and got what one playoff serie win.
