I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Shootouts need to just stop, it's like the NFL OT rules a few years ago.

Laughable the announcers were bitter when Carolina was all but handed the 3rd period after Brind'amour spent the whole night acting like a petulant child.
My penguins find the most unlikely, unprecedented ways to lose a hockey game 😅 make it stop. If they miss the postseason again with such bench scoring and at least passable goaltending, it would really sting as crosbys career may be coming to a close.
