Brayden Schenn gets standing ovation, salutes crowd in return to St. Louis

Brayden Schenn received a standing ovation and saluted the crowd during his first game back in St. Louis. Schenn was traded to the New York Islanders on March 6, just ahead of the NHL’s Trade Deadline. He wore the Blue Note for nine seasons, served as the team’s captain from 2023-26, and helped capture the Stanley Cup in 2019.

  1. Blues fans are loyal idc what other fanbases say about us jsut cause they booed kryou means nothing gotta learn to forget the past those who have that stuck up there heada

  2. Brayden it’s such a shame you couldn’t help us win out this rest of the season this is even worst now that we are winning again

  3. What is the deal with holfer btw why is he all sudden so good now is it cause binnington was a good role model to him has he been watching what binngton has been doing I wish holfer was a playoff bound goalie though im sure he will become one

  4. Love all the blues as a fan but its a business people got to be realistic and the moves they have made are the right ones. I hope Fowler bounces back and gets better and the game is getting younger it was a good move. I wanna see how Kyrou does but he needs to stop going on cold streaks if hes going to be a top 3 ideally forward. Otherwise trade him too. I have a feeling Snugg will be consistent and holloway. I do not feel the same about Kyrou right now even though i used to compare him = to Necas with speed and finishing power.

  5. I wish he and his family all the best! Always sticks up for teammates, worked hard on the ice, proudly represented the Blues jersey. I hope he and his family move back here when he retires. Thank You SCHENNER❤

  6. You will be truly missed . As a blues captain, blues player, great community person and a wonderful human being. Blues organization always lose players of great caliber and receive little in value for those we lose. Do great with the Islanders and make the fans there as proud of you as the St Louis fans were and always will be.
