I hear ya, every win it feels like EDM exhausts SO much effort/energy. Very rare they just dominate start to finish.
Rolling w/ Jarry as the starting goalie come playoff time is unsettling. Glad we atleast tried to get some defensive help at the deadline w/ the little cap/trade flexibility EDM had.
Feels inevitable they run into COL in the playoffs. Guess we’ll know if it pays off then.

Won't matter who they put in goal, if they can't defend, they'll make whoever look terrible. Fix the team defense or there'll be NO CUP.
Imo Samanski is more useful than Henrique, plus more faster and physical! I dont know why Henrique is drawing in for tomorrow's game vs Avs. The coachs decisions dont make sense sometimes!

I called for a new coach by the end of October. Takes Coffey to come in to DEMAND they play proper 2 way D hockey and roll four lines?? Wow, that is proof of why I call him "Spectator Knob". I Also said "Make Coffey GM and head coach already" months ago, and was told I was out to lunch by the usual always wrong crowd. Lol, Bowman now out a 1st round pick and a second round pick while having made the Team no better at all, and perhaps worse. Teh only saving Grace is that both Ingram and Pickard are better then Skinner or Jarry, And as for the people saying "Skinner is killing it in Pitz". Ya, the only thing he was killing there is his save %, and he's been put up for trade already. Exactly as yours truly said would happen)) Meanwhile, Holland offers Perry an exention, while fans here cheered him not being resigned. Wow…🤣

If they dont make the play offs McDavid will be another page of Oilers history of wasting 1st round picks and heading for tbe door because there's no way this club is Stanley Cup material when they're fighting for a playoff spot.

My perditions. Oilers will barely make the playoffs but will lose in first round. Mcdavid will realize he can never get a Stanley Cup with Edmonton and demand a trade. Oilers will fire coach and GM and trade Mcdavid to a contender.

Their biggest problem is they don’t pinch them off so they can’t enter our zone so easily. It’s glaringly obvious that we don’t play the same system that the entire league plays when it comes to denying them access. Nurse has been caught behind our net at least 2-3 times per game when he backs up from halfway up the ice, and then he corners himself, resulting in so many goals, all on his lonesome. In Nov / Dec they played the system that blocks access as much as possible and suddenly we were winning every game, then after Christmas they reverted and started allowing them over the blue line and then in this washing machine of death that they struggle to get out of!
yes, GM & Jackson have some questions…. having to give up #1 pick to hide the mistake w Mangiapane…. the 7m (7yrs) to Walman, the 3.8m to Frederic (8yrs), are a problem.
The 3yrs to Knobs is not looking good/the massive line juggling to prevent any chemistry etc…… he was not responsible for Nurse (9.3m) or jCampbell (5m)… but he is responsible for dumping Skinner & Kulak and Stetcher…. to get Jarry at $5.4m for 3yrs…… is not looking good.. Giving up that #1 pick looks ok today…. but only have the guys for 2months…. so a few questions about MGT/OWNER.
