  1. Talks about playing tired and forcing him to learn thst way. But cuts back michkov minutes because hes fat

  2. COC asked Tocchet in Nov these questions about the team understanding concepts and when they should have it down vs. When it would be a problem. Paraphrasing Tocchet back then, he said it usually takes roughly 30 games to half a year to understand the concepts and to start feeling comfortable with it. Tocchet also said that if they (players) were still having these problems in Feb or March then there was a problem. Well, here we are, Rick. Are the concepts bad, too complicated, or too stupid for player buy-in? Or is our teams players too stupid to learn where to be on a certain play?

  3. Point shots are a crap shoot because modern hockey stick shafts are like Willow tree branches. Actually saw #14 on the bench moving his stick back and forth and the shaft bent practically 1 foot in either direction. Newer sticks touted as high tech…laughable. Another symptom of how crappy they are is wobbly puck syndrome.

  4. “Let young guys play through things”…plays MM39 10-12 minutes until he’s yelled at by GM

  5. Fire toccett, bring back Brad Shaw, hire Simmonds as power play and pk coach, hire sharp as power play/pk, hire pronger for defence

  6. Why do People Dislike this Real Man! Flyers are .500+! Rick Tocchet is a Plus! KEEP IT UP!!!

  7. Parting shot from B. Brink…a missed, wide open net shot because he couldn't raise the puck over the goalies' pad. So typical of so many Flyers' shots in close, (not just Flyers, but pretty much the whole damn league). #14 almost specializes in them.

  8. Fire Tochett and hire Wayne Simmonds at this point. Call up and see if Giroux wants to be coach, anything is better than this

  9. NHL teaches keep your eye off the puck when stick handling, as much as possible. Yet so many players lose control because the damn puck simply slides off these willow branch shafted sticks.
