Brandon Hagel attacked Rasmus Dahlin with multiple full punches even while he was down, and wasn’t even given an extra ten minute misconduct. He was only given a double minor for roughing. If I could do that to my opponent every game and only serve four minutes I’d take that deal a hundred out of a hundred times.

Hagel should’ve been ejected from the game before this even happened- poor reffing in this game all around, there were numerous circumstances where refs were put in danger which should’ve resulted in ejections

This is pretty wild to only come away with 4 mins for roughing! But an interesting glimpse into the mindset of some officials, I explained to some people how I had a fighting major in a girls high school game, and someone said "just one? How can you have only one major for fighting?" I explained how basically one player repeatedly punched an opponent who didn't retaliate and some of them still said I shouldn't have assessed a fighting penalty 😬
Suspend dahlin for 1 game.

If you watch closely, Dahlin speared Hagel in the nuts before he jumped on him. Hagel today, Malkin the other night, Dahlin is making new friends every game with his dirty play!

I’m VERY lenient when it comes to physicality…. But I would have ejected Hagel and suspend him multi-games (idk if there has been any additional suspensions in real life).
In my opinion Hagel was less in a fight and more of Hagel beating a man who was never fighting back.

Agree should have been suspended. Interesting how in 3 games 2 guys went after dahlin. Curious your thoughts on what dahlin did to have malkin and hagel attack him. Didn’t seem unprovoked. Not saying that justifies dirty play.
This video could have been thirty minutes long, but you could probably also do quite a few other videos on this 1 game.
Dahlin wants to attack players but hes to much of a sissy to answer the bell when it rings. He got everything he deserved…and hes going to get some more. Sooner or later hes going to face the consequences for not respecting the other players on the ice.

I'm not trying to defend Hagel (I think it should have been maybe a game or two), but you clipped this incident about 2 seconds after Dahlin spears Hagel in the groin.
Ppl forget Tampa was the original dirty rat team until Florida got good. Bunch of entitled babies when it doesn’t go their way. Starts at the top with Cooper crying and trying to lawyer talk everything smh
