They’re far from perfect, but these Penguins have heart.

crazy refresh pull
Other than the fourth line and the first "D" pair, the coaching staff has to get credit for matching lines and defensemen. It has been a project all year, and it is great to see them persevere through these changes.

Biggest win of the season
The Canes are waiting to end the good feelings!
One game finished without Geno. One game closer to having Sid back. My son and I will be at the Canes match up tomorrow night. We're both repping our Tanger sweaters, #58, his is black, mine is gold! It would be cool to meet up with whoever is there from DKPS. Maybe this comeback win last night will start a winning streak for us! 🐧🏒🔥🖤💛
Three words:
Play Egore more
Could it be that Cosby and Malkin being absent is the best thing that happen for this team, in terms of bringing them together?
Every game that's close or tied in the 3rd –
Me: "we're 100% gonna lose"
Me yesterday: "this is different, no way we lose"
That game and this team was on another level. They left EVERYTHING on the ice.
If Crosby and Malkin were 5-10 years younger, this team would be a legit contender.
Great job by Dubas putting this roster together and restocking the prospect shelves. He's done a far better job fixing Hextalls mess than anyone could have expected.
My goodness…Cookie had multiple great looks at the net in that game and I am just stunned that none of them went in
Never stop giving the best “4th” line in the league their kudos! They absolutely earn it, every game! Chinahkov is a star! Safe travels on a huge road trip!
Easily the most energy I’ve felt in that arena in years.
Extend Chinakhov, he's earned it! 💰
What a great win. Must needed too!
Thank you DK. It all started with a spark and they came back for the win. Keep the momentum going. Great show DK.
The worst thing you can do to a rookie is make them afraid to make mistakes. It kills their creativity and their confidence.
Good morning DK, I never knew that Muse & staff never says anything to their players when they make mistakes or that the player may get skipped a shift 🤔 Thank you for letting us know that. I obviously have heard and seen the difference in Karlsson's play, it's the most obvious of any player that was on this team before this season. Clearly, the system Sully had which included tying up some players natural talents, such as Karlsson's, did not work well. To know, and what makes sense to me, is that Muse & co celebrate and encourage their players to play to their strengths which is so much more comfortable for the players, yet having a system to play by. Kudos to Muse & staff 👏 and because of that we have Norris Karlsson thank God!! Good stuff Dejan, have a wonderful and safe trip! Blessings always, Victor 🇨🇦
Can somebody call Barrasso so he can teach goalies how to move the puck ??? In the past, what is the common theme for the team when they make deep playoff runs ??? Being able to roll 4 line with confidence.
Kindel is a beast this question is crazy
I’m so freaking happy that Karlsson is still here, and I bet before this season is said and done everyone else will be too
Times have changed. Guys like Mike Keenan benching young players isn’t a thing anymore. Jeremy Roenick talked about how his fear of Keenan turned him into the hard-nosed player that he became. Players today don’t generally react well to those types of tactics just ask Mike Babcock. DK is 100 percent right that the Pens coaching staff are willing to allow players to make mistakes as long as they are learning and progressing. The other thing is with iPads and video in today’s world those mistakes can be better analyzed by the coaching staff and used in a positive way to teach players.
Coaching!…….oh he's just a kid!? Fine put THE KID in time out. Let him KNOW…..things might need adjusted
Dewar goal was straight up NASTY!!!!
