After a whirlwind 24 hours around the trade deadline, John Carlson arrived in Orange County for his first day in 17 year career taking the ice not in a Washington Capitals sweater. Carlson talks about his adjustment to the Ducks and update on his injury. Mikael Granlund is set to return from an upper-body injury for his first action since the Olympics, where he captained Finland to a bronze medal. While I’m sure the front office is doing everything they can to help Mr Carlson facilitate all the logistics, I really hope they make smooth transition and a good impression on the family. Those type of things are what, imo, players talk about and gives our franchise street cred
