That depends on if the other guy deserved it or not. This is blatant assault, if it happened off the ice. In hockey this is a major penalty and probably a game misconduct…but that doesn't mean he didn't deserve it!
Fines are a joke to these millionaires on skates….lol…usually its $5000 and a game or 2. Lets say the lower paid NHL making 5 million a year for math sake, gets a 5 grand fine. Thats 0.1% of his yearly salary… Thats like paying 70 bucks if you make 70 grand a year. Id gladly pay twice that to bat someone in the gob!
