At first blush at full speed it looks like every net front battle. It only looks bad on the replay.
None of you noticed it during live play. Quit acting like the ref should’ve seen what literally no one else saw in the moment. The refs deserve plenty of criticism, they’ve been horrible, but this isn’t one of the times for that.
The lack of a response from the team is what bothers me. Twice now, earlier with Seider being bullied…….. Probert, where are you? He'd be ending this dude's career as Larkin's could have been.
Clear and very high impact blatant cross-check to the middle/lower back with clear intent to injure. No call on the play. 10/10 player safety great job as always NHL 👍
another case of the vegas golden refs being the "least penalized team" bc they are giving handys to the refs in the back.
Literally no team boils my blood like them. People are like "they play on the edge" but no, they have 2-3 good players and the rest are just oversized brutes who take cheap shots and never get calls. The amount of times kolisar (or however its spelled) has injured a player after a clear boarding and hasnt been called is more than 5. He has not been suspended either for any of them. thats just him. Idk if its culture/the players just get po-ed easily or management but the amount of times a vegas player has gotten away with something heinous is ridiculous. im sick of seeing pleyers getting hurt by vegas players and its always written off as "unintentional"
Didn’t this just happen to him like 2 years ago? I’ve never seen someone go down as hard as Larkin after a cross check. I’ll see someone get cross checked four times in a row harder than that and they’re still standing. Maybe he needs an adult chest protector that covers more?
You know what makes me even more mad than the fact that Larkin has been injured a few times from a cross check to the back? Or the fact that there's never a penalty or disciplinary action after the fact? It's the fact that NOT A SINGLE ONE IF HIS TEAMMATES STOOD UP FOR HIM! That's why this team won't do a damn thing in the playoffs, they're soft. Just ask Toronto what it's like having a team full of skilled guys with no grit, you go nowhere.
