Hustler reacts to the Jets Stanley-Schenn trade

Hustler reacts to the Jets’ biggest trade of the deadline.

The key piece coming back is Isak Rosen — a 14th overall pick who’s been dominating the AHL and now gets a real chance to prove himself in Winnipeg.

But what really surprised Hustler?

The Jets not only landed Rosen… they also got a 2nd-round pick and a 4th-round pick back in the deal.

“Once you dive into Rosen and the second-rounder… that’s some pretty good business.”

Did Kevin Cheveldayoff deliver what Jets fans were hoping for?

  1. so a team that lacks grit and size and fades in the playoffs trades away exactly that for more small skilled players….is this not the definition of insanity ?? what are you all smoking??

  2. Sabres don't need draft picks. They can't sign them all. There's limits on contracts. Don't get too excited, the odds of a 2nd round pick playing 5 years is something like 8%. You got a gift certificate to Starbucks and a bag of Dorito's in terms of draft pick compensation.
