  1. Byfield and slaf are different draft years it wasn't a one or the other situation. The slaf debate was between Cooley, Wright and slaf , nemec not so much

  2. Very simple. You play Monty the game is over after one! You play Dobes, a rookie, who has lots to learn, you always have a chance to win. He has two gigantic issues. He is a rookie and needs to learn. He does not have a french name. Shows he should be bench now. Very bad decisions have cost the Habs 10-16 points this year. Snacks is not an NHL goalie. Get rid of him or the team dies.

  3. Spot on with Matheson. Thats exactly what is happening. Hes overused and in his age that will back fire on you sooner or later.

  4. Laine will be a distraction for the team. In every press conference going forward MSL will be asked when will he be in the lineup. MTL is in a dogfight to make the playoffs so makes no sense to include him in the lineup as he didn’t play all year and has no fit on this team. Trading him with 50% retention at the deadline would in no universe cost a 1th round pick. Would probably be included in a deal they were planning to do as a cap dump to make the money work. Either way, he’s here and we have to live with it and happy they didn’t spend assets to move him.

  5. I love to see you making the show again without AI and tones of AI notes. Thats why I love to listening to you. Your thoughts are the what makes you special. Kudos for your spontaniouse reacrions. Great show K 🫡💪

  6. Coach my beef with MSL is that he should have made Dobes #1 long ago instead of giving up so many points to a mediocre #2 in Monty.

  7. Obviously a good move to put Slaf back on the 1st line.
Looked like it took the 1st period to sort it out, though.
Newhook and the kids seem to need some time to find their game.
Another win for Doby noted – crucial saves when needed.
The banana was extremely quick, but yup, a banana still.
Looked like the puck would have missed the net.
Get rid of those and you'll be a star goalie. 👍

  8. How nice is it to see Slaf hone that shot?!

We have some big holes it’s pretty obvious. Although I think we address them in the off-season internally and at camp, I do think it will be exposed if we get into playoffs this year especially if we run into a bad matchup like Tampa, Detroit, or Buffalo. But for a team without a true 2C, a top6 winger and a shut down RH defenceman, we’re doing pretty good. But we really have to play better defence ffs!

Do you think Reinbacher will be ready to replace carrier next year? Or Engstrom to replace Matheson? And do you think Hage makes an appearance end of year? And what are we going to do with our 3rd line next year ? Apart from Anderson he’s making 3.5 his last year and that is a STEAL IDGAf what anyone says! I hope they sign him to an extension if he’s willing to take around 3 million annually to stay in MTL for the next four years. Anyways, what do you think coach? All the best.

    Ps..
    You’re 100% right about Marty.
Marty is fine man ppl need to chill.

Robidas on other hand…. I’m not a fan.

  9. If Dobes is not the starting goalie, then something is wrong. Sorry Monty…you need to work with the goalie coach.

  10. If you look back at the second LA goal, obviously Dobes needs to save that but look just a bit earlier and you’ll see the blame is at least 50% on Carrier. Carrier is ahead of the LA player on a race to the puck behind the net but chickened out so as not to get hit and allowed the LA player to get the puck first. Thats unacceptable.

  11. Marty SL was a beast of a player and IS a respected and tactical Coach….yes tell tge naysayers to shut up. It’s not harsh it’s deserved. As usual really enjoy your videos !
