Seems like the org knows how to fix bad defenseman, fingers crossed.
Terrible trade. Wild are on the rise and Guerin knows what he is doing. Brink is not a star, but a solid player. The defenseman Flyers got is a bust. Bad move!
Gonna miss Bobby's speed and work ethic. Bobby hustles. But, I'm happy for him going to a club with potential.

I liked brink I understand we have to make room on the wing. I get that. I don’t know how I feel about the trade. I’m having Scott flashbacks all over again.
He is 22 years old and 6/4 over 200 lbs look at his stats with Minnesota he seemed to play pretty solid with a plus minus of 0 over i think 20 games

This trade is a gamble but the flyers need to thin the herd on the wing.
This was a helluva move, he’s gonna be a great defenseman in the near future, defenseman develop slower and he hasn’t gotten a ton of time to do so!
Great, just what we need: another defenseman that can't play defense and can't score enough to stay on the NHL club. Restricted free agent that CAN produce at this level for a restricted free agent that CAN'T produce at this level. This seems like a trade just to trade and shut the media up. Don't like it at all. Brink is one of the motor guys, and we need all of them we can get.

I was high on Jiracek as a prospect after watching him at the World Junior Championship a few years ago. Hopefully the Flyers can unlock the potential he showed. They've done all right with developing struggling defensemen in recent years.

It’s a little scary that Jiricek, a 2022 top 10 draft pick has already been traded twice in such short order, considering the value teams place on big right handed shot defenseman. That said the risk reward does seem worth it given our glut of current/ potential middle six wingers
Wild fan here. Checking in to see your thoughts on Brink. I wish the best of luck to Jiricek. Unfortunately, he has been really disappointing thus far. Ive lost any hope he will be anything other than a fringe 3rd line pair. He has great size, but physicallity isnt part of his game. The wild traded a lot for him, an he has been so bad, that most fans are jumping at the thought of getting an actual NHLer for him. Originally we included Hunt as a throw in our trade package for Jirecek, and then were able to get Hunt back on waivers. Ironically, Hunt outplayed Jirecek so undoubtedly early in the year that it really solidified Jirecek being AHL bound. I dont think he would have cracked the wilds D in the coming years

Easy to replace a small winger espiecially with Martone, Foerster and maybe Bump coming up , I'm not worry about to replace Brink

I'm neutral on this trade. It's not as bad a trade as people think, but it's not great either. We’ll see how this works out, but Brink will definitely help Minn this year.

Flyers won't trade to get elite talent because we have players no team would trade for in exchange for an elite player. Tank already.

People worried about Nesbitt’s slow feet. I’m certain they’re taking on slow skaters and trying long term projects that might pay off. If not he’s a RHS D. Valuable to teams in the playoff run.

We should have drafted Debrincat in 2016 and Caufield in 2019. Instead we drafted a Bud Light, and just moved him today. Just pisses me off more.

The Flyers will not make the playoffs until the company that owns them, sells them to an organization that actually cares about hockey. The Flyers will not make the playoffs anytime soon, and will eventually break the streak that Buffalo is on, 14 years. What is the point of signing all these players, just to trade or release them a couple years later. This team is broken and I cheer when a player is traded, they will probably have a better career somewhere else.
Got a huge potential 1D for a replacement level OK player. Now they have to coach him up. And good for Bobby. Hard player to dislike. Brink is a great pro. Just OK. Not great. Charlie is right.
