Hes actually terrible
He has poor defensive IQ. He's really slow in recognizing the threats in their own zone, his positioning and gap control is terrible, and he is not agile or quick. He's very easy to expose if you're playing against him.
Jake was definitely going full Wranglers last night.
They should of been sellers this year and go all in next year. This team is all over the place. Our only hope now is that the coach gets fired and the players we got re sign. I am so happy that I declined on spending money and going to the game with friends last night
Walman/Frererick; /Nurse/ etc Jarry INgram goalies are bad . campbell 2.0 revisited again nightmare!!!!!!! Players don't just go from being good to being bad over the course of a few months. Unless they are injured. People were complaining that Janmark was suddenly not an NHL player anymore. Turns out he was playing with such a serious injury he's had to have surgery. Now, the decision to play injured players is a different matter. But that isn't a decision the players themselves are making.
He has been very good over his full tenure with the Oilers, but recently he has been bad enough that I think he must have a nagging injury. He was awful last game.
OK, let's not jump off the deep end here. His season has been cursed from the start. I'd still take him over Nurse any day.
Detroit paid to get rid of that guy…for a reason. Same as in Detroit, he was fantastic…for awhile, and then he just stopped trying. This is just who Jake Walman is guys.

His position is left side but he ends up in the right side getting tightened with a goalie and getting scored on he needs to be better also.
He's no worse than Nurse and 2.25M cheaper so not going to complain

I will say, Jarry kept us in the game last night. He didn't see much help from the team but he made lots of big saves.

wasn't his last 2 injuries that sent him out for a while both from blocked shots? you have to imagine what that would do to a players psyche. I think everyone will elevate that game IF we manage to make it to the playoffs 🤣
