First mistake the Leafs made was getting rid of Marner instead of Matthews. Second was making Matthews Capitan. Now the Leafs are paying the price for it.

So, it looks like the Leafs have turned back to the team from a few years ago, and are back on the do not win the cup for 100 years plan they have been on for most of the last 60 years or so. We had a few good years to try and get the fan base back on board, but now we are full tilt on not wining. As a Leaf fan for the last 68 years, I feel poorly done by. No other team's fans in the NHL has to put up with this amount of crap. I wonder if when they get to 100 years without a cup if they will start a new 100 year plan to not win again?
