I'm really disappointed with your interview with Brad Treliving. You had him to be able to ask important questions.
1. Are you going to play Hildeby for the rest of the season?
Why? The rest of the games don't matter. We need to give Hildeby a chance to proove himself in this league. Now is the time.
2. Are you going to play any others of the Marlies?
The Marlies players are playing for the purpose to play in the NHL in the future. Now is their opportunity to show they deserve too or not. This will also show how valuable it is to have picks. I'm not going to do the homework, how many in the past 10 years or more, have the Leafs brought up players from drafts who were in each round? Will these picks help in what time frame.
3. Kadri's trade.
Did Toronto go after Kadri? Why weren't we successful at that trade?
Stevie Y got the Redwings their 2nd pair right shot Dman to play behind Seider and take some of the pressure off the #1 pair aka "Twin Towers" with huge 6'6 Edvinsson. Chariot is having his best season with the Wings and has that mean grit and fighting ability we need for the playoffs. Now the 19 yr old rookie and 2nd power play quarterback specialist RD Axel Sandin Pellica can move down to the 3rd pair with Johannson or JBD to create offense with his amazing skillset against weaker competition. The Redwings biggest weakness has been fulfilled and their 5 on 5 scoring should increase for sure. 🌟
Brendan Shanahan really messed this team up by hiring a rookie GM in Kyle Dubas, then hiring Brad Treliving. What a disaster. Put Mark Hunter in the GM chair, ffs.

Hopefully leafs can see what most see and that is that this front office and coaching staff need to be replaced.
All you guys did was trade off 3 of your players for picks and didn't aquire any players underwhelming is right. Got rid of Roy, Laughton & McMann but got no players back in return. As a Sens fan we didn't do much either but at least we aquired a player we can use right away in Warren Foegele on our 3rd line. I agree with Sammy the only good thing is getting a 1st round pick for Roy for next year
The plan is to keep Mathews happy and hope he doesn't leave. Simple. Any hater or troll saying get rid of 34 is lying… they just wish they had Mathews on their team. Gold medal mofos, suck it.
Bourne said the thing I've been saying for a couple of years now (especially after loosing Marner). Get rid of Matthews and Nylander and restock the cupboards. You will never win with them. This team has been mismanaged severely the past 10 years and ruined what could have been a dynasty.
I guarantee you OV is still the #1 jersey sale in Washinton. He is an icon.

Worst GM interview I've ever heard, brad is out to lunch.
While I honestly think Brad Treliving is a good honest man, his standpoint on this team and unwillingness to make major serious changes to a club that has hit rock bottom during the Matthews/Nylander/Tavares era is 100% unacceptable and unforgivable. He should be fired immediately and new faces must be brought in who will embrace a full rebuild asap this summer. If not the Leafs are doomed for at least the next decade.

Concerned about lack of a plan. If Leaf's boss is ok to move forward with NO PLAN, all is lost.
What is he waiting for?

He was an embarrasement also for his team ( with his 14 teams list of no sale contract) , preventing them to get better players by trade.
And he made a big negtive effect to his career a player after this. No one wants now sign him.
And in Blues roster he should sit in press box the rest of the season. Untill they get rid of him in summer.
Feel bit sorry for Treliving. Its bit sad when ppl in social media call him Mr. Tresleeping.
He can' t give any solutions to answers, the Plan sounds vague or not existing. The signings have badly failed this year. The coach has failed this season. The team is empty of assets.
Surely he has tried his best . But the effort has failed.
What I would do is
1 ask Reilly to waive
2. use the pics that I acquired today for McMahon and Lawton and use those as a sweetener for someone to take Riley's entire salary off my hands
3. Now you have about 17 million in cap room to go shopping this summer on July 1st. I would definitely go after Rasmus Anderson on July 1st
You probably won't get that many assets back for Riley but if you can dump his whole salary that's a win

bingo..u must have been reading my posts…Morgan has cost the Leafs over 20 games just by himself..he has been on the ice for about 70 goals against and about half of them were game winners and a # of them overtime game winners for the other team..if u get rid of Morgan and eat $5 million like u said it is like adding a 70 goal scorer without actually adding one because morgan basically fired 70 into his own net this year..even cutting him and eating the whole salary would add 20 wins i!!
All this time I had these two guys confused. I thought Kyper was Bourne and said he doesn’t stop talking. Bourne is great on this show. Kyper is the one who talks over everyone.
