Senators Acquire Foegele at the Trade Deadline, Bid Farewell to Perron

The Senators tweaked their roster at the NHL trade deadline, acquiring defensive forward Warren Foegele from LA and hoping he can get back to his 24-goal form from last season. Meanwhile, the Sens said goodbye to David Perron. Stephen Halliday wasn’t traded, but now the Senators have too many forwards, so is he the odd man out or will it be someone else? We also look at Tim Stutzle’s recent performance,s the win in Calgary and the important schedule ahead. The roster is set! They’re playing well, but do they have enough race track remaining?

  1. either gonna be a massive successful trade or a super mid. don’t really see a big downside here. at the very least you add some speed to the lineup.

  2. While Perron was great and always showed up in clutch situations he is an aging player so getting a quality younger player (Foegele) in place of Perron was actually a smart move.
