It’s Free For All Friday — and it just so happens to fall on the biggest day of the NHL calendar outside of the playoffs: NHL Trade Deadline day.
With the clock ticking toward the deadline, Cam and Jim react to all the moves around the league and what they mean for the Winnipeg Jets — including the mammoth deal that sent Logan Stanley and Luke Schenn to the Buffalo Sabres for forward prospect Isak Rosen, defenseman Jacob Bryson, and Buffalo’s second-round pick in 2027 and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2026.
What do you think of that big haul? Are you excited to see what Rosen can do, after he has 25 goals and 43 points in 37 games for the AHL’s Rochester Americans?
That all happened after a resounding win by the Winnipeg Jets over the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-1. Is the path actually opening for this team to make the post-season? Can the Jets climb past Los Angeles, San Jose, Nashville, and Seattle?
The guys also open the floor to the listeners, taking questions, opinions, and hot takes on everything from the deadline chaos to the state of the Jets down the stretch.
All that and plenty more on another edition of Free For All Friday on Jets at Noon.

they were picking off passes left and right, and they forchecked TB to death which worked wonders, not every game is going to work like this but to beat TB that way never seen that coming. As for Schenn and Stanley im now saving my opinion now that it has happened, we lost size for sure but last night we finally got something we need more this year, Speed and someone whos Bday in the 00's rather then 80's or 90's
Bunch of dummies calling in today
Jets making the playoffs baby
When you make that money guaranteed there should be no trade clause. Player in power meant is terrible for league
holy smokes i share a city with some of these folks! presidents trophy team trading ehlers? probably thinks we should trade helle for a zamboni and a fourth
So Blues defence man Parayko blocks a trade to the Sabres which results in our two guys traded there
For fans thinking Schenn or Stanley are good 1st pass guys are crazy they have a hard time getting it out zone and up the ice it's not like a Enstrom who can just skate up and pass to forwards.
I can't wait see Rosen top 9 time how he looks
Who cares what time Vancouver games start. 😂
Jim doing his loser best to look hip…flat hat yesterday & toque today.
Hey Cam and Jim! (Loved the old Shaw/Videon days). Regarding the Rantanen/Necas trade talks last year—it makes you wonder where the Jets would be if we’d taken a similar swing. Imagine swapping a player like Ehlers for a package of high-end, fast player/ prospects to mirror Colorado’s evolution. We have to take those risks! Also, Cam is spot on about the Winnipeg 'remote village' myth. Most guys who actually play here realize it feels like home. It makes me want to 'Moneyball' the roster: find a bunch of hungry 'misfits' from across the leagues who just need a shot and let them go on a tear. How fun would it be to watch that team stick it to the league? Let’s embrace the Misfit identity!
take a walk phil jesus man
I dunno, I think it's a weeding out process to allow players to tell you that they'd be locker room cancer. Do you really want someone to be on the team who has a problem with winter?
