A huge thank you to all the hockey fans who’ve been suggesting videos for me to react to on this channel. Many of you were kind enough to let me know that there was an Australian raised player in the league, so you know I had to move his highlights to the top of the list! You’ve all blown me away with your kindness, I hope you enjoy the video.

If there’s something specific you want me to check out be sure to let me know in the comments!

  1. Bro, if you ever see a live game, you’ll agree hockey is one of the best sports. The NHL played 2 games in Rod Laver Arena 2 seasons ago and plan to be back.

The sport, is unfortunately, abysmally marketed.

Also, you can YouTube search ‘Hockey 101 with Snoop’ for some short videos explaining the rules. The ‘Offside’ and ‘Icing’ would be first to watch.
    Cheers.

  2. That deflection is one of the reason why hockey players are more skilled than other team sports since they can see the puck flying towards the net at high speed and react fast enough to properly redirect it.

  3. "The Code" is about 10 minutes long. It's ok, but done by an English dude who calls it "Ice Hockey" (It's just Hockey), so take a lot of what he says with a pinch of salt. Things like talking about Fighters, Enforcers, as: "…these men and women have given up being stars and bigger paycheques, and risk their lives to protect…" and so on. There are no "enforcers" in Women's Hockey lol. They wear full face cages, and don't fight. Push and shove and trip etc., but ya, there aren't any knock down drag out fights in Women Hockey Leagues…

  4. The Code video people are recommending is the 10 minutes one on top of the list you had

  5. Just discovered your channel tonight, it’s really cool how you watched your first hockey game less than a week ago, and you already found highlights from the NHL’s first Australian player. I’ve watched hockey my entire life, so it’s always interesting to people watch for the first time, especially the 4 Nations Final. The NHL regular season is 82 games each for 32 teams, here were the highlights from one of those games if you’re interested, this one is one of the NHL’s biggest rivalries: Toronto Maple Leafs vs Boston Bruins https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QTrGVD5XiS4

  6. Didn’t know that much about Walker since he plays in a different conference from my favorite team, but I learned a thing or two from this and it’s awesome seeing your reaction to a fellow countryman! The dude seems pretty badass actually 😂

  7. Dude, you should totally break down Hockey fights from a new fan/fighting fan’s perspective. I actually really enjoyed that part

  8. You wanna see a beauty of a goal? Go see Cole Caufield's goal, last night in overtime. They don't get any better!
    Ciao bros 🤘🇨🇦🤘

  9. Watch the famous rangers vs bruins brawl where the players where in the stands fighting fans lol its insane

  10. I should have known about the Aussie in the NHL, I'm sure his teammates like him, when I lived in Japan I met a LOT of Aussies there, never met one I didn't like, even the two guys who ripped me off were nice.

  11. The code is a good video. Something all Canadians instinctively know at birth.

  12. Nate's a Stanley Cup winner with the Washington Capitals in 2018.
He was actually born in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 , so he's technically British.

  13. I met Walker a few times when he played for the Caps. Really nice guy and still had his Aussie accent until he was on the ice, where everyone talks like a Canadian. I grew up playing hockey in Indiana and Michigan, then on the east coast in Connecticut, and in the locker room and on the ice we all sound Canadian. Even the Italian kids from Long Island or Mamaroneck NY I played with who sounded like Tony Soprano off the ice. The Swedes and Fins in the NHL sound like they’re from Sudbury. Walker’s Aussie accent didn’t stand a chance.
