I’m glad they didn’t make a push for a big trade right now. Just ride out the rest of the season and let’s go for a big time center in the offseason. Still thinking Matthews is the guy we should be trying to get.
Not crazy about letting Perry go. Not that we're expecting a deep run in the playoffs, but I think he could've added more veteran depth for those crucial games. I think Tampa got the better deal 🤷♂️

The Perry move just insures a few less power plays given to the other team. His contributions should be easily replaced by younger talent. Also, past history, the Lightning just set themselves up for another Stanley Cup defeat. I'm good with the fact this will Perry's biography when he's done

Yaaaaaayyyyyy!! Perry is the Anti-King…..he was our "Jonah" this season…..hopefully these transactions reflect a desire by management to begin the badly needed rebuild. Trading aging slower players for draft picks works for me.

Perry trade has to be the most idiotic move, he pulled his weight while at the Kings and added much needed muscle when needed to show he wasn't a push over.
Trading Perry is just showing it made rhe wrong moves last summer. Should've stood with the kids and let them play. Instead they moved in overpayed vets and we are literally in the same position with some pretty terrible contracts.
Do you not understand what Scotty L brings to the team dressing room will b 100% better…. When Hughes on his game, he is one of the best. Third line centers, I think this is a huge upgrade, a massive move for possibly only a third I live in Ontario, Canada. So we get those scumbag leafs shove down her throat every single day. No matter what, trust me, this Rock star is gonna help at our team. So much he went for a first round. Last year, I know that was last year, but I'm telling you right now. We need to resign this
