I'm so glad I bailed on this f*cking miserable sh*t hole of a team. Get rid of coach….14 assistant GM's, Gm and entire roster other than under 25 years old. Nylander and Matthews dump them. Leafs nation knew this was a dumpster fire back in `21 or `22. Just start over and please for the love of God stop going to the damn games. Nothing will change until this franchise loses money. Wings used to be my 2nd fav now my 1st. Montreal my 2nd and Dallas my third.
Okay does this mean that Morgan Rielly is going to be a healthy scratch for most of the 19 games ?

The expectation that Treliving was going to get more for Laughton McMann wasn't happening.
Laughton trade is the one that will be one that isn't going any away any time soon. It didn't help that he didn't play up in the lineup and points .
OEL wasn't going anywhere which i am okay with his value is needed for next year.

McMann was not going to get you more that they got.
The time to trade McMann might had been before the break?
McMann wasn't worth 5 million the comparison of Sherwood wasn't a good one two very different players. Because Sherwood received 5.7 million a yr shouldn't have meant McMann was worth 5 million!!!
Be thankful they didnt over pay for McMann. 3.2 3.7 at 3 yrs would had been reasonable.
No mention of Riellys future ?
When asked about the leadership no mention of McCabe OEL Tanev which was concerning. Did mention Mathews Travares Nylander and Rielly?
He said he believed the leadership on the team.
Treliving took responsibility for disappointing season.
As for next year a review and re evaluation from top to bottom will taking place in the up coming weeks and after the regular season .

Steve, the Leafs think different then you. You want them to be successful on the ice when they want success with the bottom line. They didn't move off the core four because of all the business ie jersey sales and everything that came with it. They got playoff dates, not as much as they would like but now they don't have that. The only way they get serious about winning is if the bottom line starts to dip.

Nick robertson is scoring 25 goals on a team thatll play him. I understand he has defensive woes but he works harder than anyone and he has great talemt. Berube has failed to bring out the best in his players.
