Good to have Connor aboard
Feels like we have too many of the same guys, these middle six, 15-20g/50 point guys. Look at how many we’ve acquired just this season – Wood, Coyle, Marchment and now Garland. Are they solid players? Absolutely! Do they fill our needs? I’m doubtful. The thing we need the most is a pure goal scorer, we have no one besides Marchenko. Garlands a great forechecker, play driver, which is awesome, but who’s he passing to? KJ? Monahan? Boone? That’s the issue, and it makes the Chinakov trade look even worse than before. We could desperately use him now with the Garland acquisition. Bones needs to give up whatever hatred he has for Voronkov – the dude fucking scores goals, I think he still leads the team in PP goals. We have a lot of play drivers, we need someone to finish. I’m not banking on Garland and these other guys to be the scoring force DW is imagining them to be. We desperately need another shooter
