Anyone who says āfire Hollandā because of this deadline literally has no idea what theyāre talking about. If you want to get mad at the Ceci Dumoulin trade, I get that, Iām still pissed about that too.
But as far as this deadline, it was very good. Didnāt give up major assets, and we didnāt pull a panicking-Rob Blake-move and try to go all in just because of Kopitar. I would argue they actually got a little better, and they gained two 2nds. Young guys also will still play. Not mention we got Panarin for a prospect and a secondā¦
The defensive group will likely get addressed in the offseason, especially with dipshit Hiller gone
I'm so glad to see others accepting Ken Holland and his decision making. I can't believe he's so honest about his decisions. He's very respectful and he's doing his best. It was easy for me to say "the Kings stick" but I have no basis-other than win/losses to judge them. This guy is doing his best and I can live with that. Now, if only Staples would make handicap seating readily available once again, I might just try to check out some games before the season ends!
I have been a huge Holland critic, but I give him a B letter grade, considering Panarin and a bunch of draft picks. Now coach needs to play young guys, letās see what Portillo has at NHL level, cut Doughtys minutes and play Clark more.
I think ultimately this was what they had to do. No point in buying some big name now only for it to not work out. Best to get some young guys their shot now and hope to load up on prospects for next year or trade off the picks to buy a 1C to replace Kopi. We all know this team wouldn't do much damage in the playoffs if they get there, so I'm fine with all of these decisions. Now they can try to target someone like Matthews over summer, which Holland clearly is not at liberty to discuss right now.
Every time I see one of these videos and the Kings still have not addressed the inability to hear the reporter's questions, I just can't help think that the Kings are run by incompetent boobs
He is already rebuilding the Kings. He has the experience and he is moving the personnel he feels need to be move to recapitalize on draft picks. Short term: Deal with plugging the roster holes. Prepare for Kopi retirement, Long term: draft capital. He obviously likes the young players who are already making their mark. He is doing well in my opinion.

What moves? Getting rid of Corey and Warren for a bag of Pucks. Laughton is old and slow too
Thanks
Holland needs to retireā¦ā¦ā¦.
Fire Holland and unlucky Luc
I wanted futa or yank but we got this retreaded GM
Holland did great! Very impress with him sharing his line of thinking. Makes sense with the Hiller firing and injuries.
Lots of salt in here. Objectively speaking, Holland did well at the TD.

Yes, Luc should still be fired regardlessā¦
Perry being traded is the best thing to happen this season.
Hey Kenny!? can you acquire at least ONE OPEN NET Specialist? or is there a bootcamp the team can take??
Here for the Hollandaise

Time to fire Robatille and Holland. Clean house.
Is it impossible to have a mic for the press so we can hear the questions?

Fantastic moves by Kenny today
Good perry is gone, we just leapfrogged 15 teams for team speed.
I liked Fogle's forchecking and shot, what happened?

And we couldn't have thrown a 6th round pick to Vancouver for Lukas Reichel former 17th overall pick and only 23 years old like the Bruins did
