  1. I think we move Minty or Zelle to bolster the roster more. Maybe for a winger or another big body

  2. I disagree. A 1st round pick is the future of the Ducks, that's a loss for us 5 years down the line. The Ducks are far ahead of what was expected, but do you realistically expect them to get by the Avs, Stars or Wild?

    Carlson is currently injured so, will he be able to step in immediately? He's 36 years old, how long can he play? Caps fans are saying his skills and have declined. Other Caps fans are saying he wants a 3 year contract..

    Time will tell, I'm not wild about this move, but at least they didn't trade one of our young players.

  3. People aren’t factoring in this will be a late first round pick we are giving up, not a top 5 pick. Look at our history of late first round draft picks, they aren’t great.
